Cryogenically Treated 'Polarized' IEC Adapter

This audio/video power cable adapter will allow the use of detachable IEC power cables on CD Players and DVD players with a 'polarized' C8 (figure eight) power cable receptacle.

It is important to use a 'polarized' (square notch on one end) version of the IEC adapter to ensure that correct AC polarity is maintained.

Cryogenically Treated AC Receptacles

CryoClear recommends the Hubbell HBL8200HW Hospital Grade 15A 125V AC receptacle. A hospital grade receptacle provides much better grip and electrical contact than the standard household receptacle. The Hubbell receptacle has been cryogenically treated to further improve its performance.
