CryoClear carries a number of tweak products which we have found to significantly improve the performance of your system. Contact EnhancerMapleShade SilClear is the first silver-loaded contact enhancer optimized for superior performance in audio/visual systems. SilClear will significantly improve the sound (or video quality) of any interconnect, audio/video power cable, speaker cable, etc. The sonic improvements noted include remarkable increase in treble extension, transparency, detail and sparkle, without any added edginess. Bass sounds tighter, and less boomy. Attacks are noticeably quicker and punchier. Midrange timbres and harmonic details are articulated more clearly, yielding a more natural and intimate musicality. SilClear uses microscopically thin silver platelets (a millionth inch thin; 8 square feet of surface per gram!) to enhance the conductivity of electrical connectors. The unique binder for the silver platelets is an ultra-pure, low dielectric absorption, food-grade grease that minimizes signal loss/smearing. The thinnest possible coating lasts 10 to 20 unpluggings. Comes in a 14-gram jar (with applicator) that treats 1000+ connectors. CryoClear uses MapleShade SilClear contact enhancer as part of the Silver Power Cable manufacturing process.

ShortiesThe unused interconnect input sockets on your receiver, preamplifier, preprocessor, and amplifier act as aerials for RFI, polluting the circuit. 'Shorties' are RCA plugs with the signal and ground 'shorted' together. Plug the Shorties into your RCA inputs (do not connect them to the analog outputs) and you get reduced distortion and lower background noise. There are two types of 'Shorties' available:
Analog outputs cannot be shorted. Each pack contains six pairs. Please specify the mix of direct and 75ohm 'Shorties' required. More information on shorting inputs can be found in the following link. EMI/RFI ReductionCryoClear recommends treating your electronic components with Stillpoints ERS.
Stillpoints ERS redirects, absorbs, and diffuses EMI/RFI (Electro-magetic Interference/Radio Frequency Interference). The benefits of ERS for audio/video are best heard with digital circuits due to the RFI creating aspect of the circuitry itself. Benefits of ERS can also be heard in treating EMI originating from AC power supplies and transformers. A full description of the Stillpoints ERS product can be found on the Stillpoints company web site. Our experiences with ERS are discussed in the Tweaking section of this site.
